The Ten Commandments
Jesus taught that the Ten Commandments are an application of the two greatest commandments, on which hang the entire law and the prophets.
They teach us what it looks like to love our Lord and to love our neighbour as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40).
They are given to a people whom God has made free and are designed to keep us free from the self-destructive slavery of sin.
