A place of refuge where guilt is exchanged for blessing and where we no longer live in fear and … [Read more...] about Blessed are all who take Refuge in Him

So, here we are in Jericho. Herod the Great, who slaughtered Bethlehem's boys during Jesus' childhood died here. After his death, a conflict erupted over who should take the throne in his place. None of the choices was good. Archelaus, the front runner amongst his brothers, … [Read more...] about Jesus, Warning

Job knew the Sabeans had struck his servants and he knew that the Chaldeans had raided his camels, but what Job said was, "The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away, blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job … [Read more...] about Lord of the Panic

#40 Jesus, Clean the Cup - The Life and Times of Jesus

Hypocrisy is a nagging sin. It's subtle and it is sinister, often creeping in unawares.  It is a false claim to devotion. It is the attempt of an unclean heart to look clean by dressing itself up in all kinds of goodly deeds and words. It's horribly insincere and God hates … [Read more...] about Jesus, Clean the Cup
